Gloves to be presented to the recipients of the order of the Queen's glove by the hand of Larrisa in January 2002.

C. 1590, The thumb is a set in thumb and the fourchettes are the v-shaped ones. I did not v-shape the fingers as the leather thickness was really giving me problems. The cuff is left open at the wrist. I used silk button twist, (Lasics.com), and a medium size leather needle. The leather is Kid, finally the leather factory locally carries it.

I used black silk embroidery floss for the crown, sigel, and tudor rose, I embroidered it on very thin sheer silk and then couched it on the gloves. Embroidery took about 2 weeks. No knots. Each glove took about a week and a half. I hope to get faster but this leather is just sooooo thick!
